Experience

Summer Student Researcher in the Davidson Research in Immersive Virtual Environments Lab

Summer 2025

I conducted research on immersive virtual environments, focusing on human-computer interaction and behavioral responses in VR. I designed and built interactive simulations in Unity to study the Proteus effect and elderly mobility. I also explored gender-based perceptions of presence by testing avatar hand variations, including cross-gender and fictional designs.

Collections Assistant at the E.H Little Library in Davidson College

September 2024 - May 2025

I managed daily operations by organizing materials and assisting patrons, overseeing over 120 weekly interactions in a busy academic library. I helped streamline library processes, improving efficiency by 15%. Through direct engagement with students and staff, I developed strong customer service and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
